Bricoteca Community
PROJECT TYPE
UX-UI, Product Design
Context
Bricoteca is a Henkel initiative offering physical locations in Spain for DIY fans and creators. The project seeks to establish new revenue sources and has gone through various stages: from validating the core concept and constructing physical centers to launching a basic community and testing courses online.
Why community?
The project seeks to develop an online community to support the business by fostering customer loyalty, offering a digital revenue stream independent of physical locations, reducing customer acquisition costs, and enhancing user interaction both inside and outside Bricoteca centers.
Process
We were 2 designers working hand by hand on making product mapping, making design systems. And working with developers tea, tp clearly communicate how and what did we imagine, for that we cerated extensive design system which includes, typography, color, grids, atoms, molecules and organism rules.
First things first
Our first step was to create a site map of the complete platform. Then, together with the client and developers, we decided what features should be prioritized and taken into production of our first version.
Design system
Our aim was to ensure the website could continue to evolve seamlessly without our ongoing assistance. To achieve this, we developed a comprehensive design system that future designers or the client themselves could easily follow and implement.
Grand finale
In the end, we were able to achieve excellent results in just five weeks, thanks to close collaboration between developers and designers. Working together, we addressed misunderstandings and supported each other as needed. The most important outcome was our effective communication and teamwork, which enabled us to deliver high-quality work within a short timeframe.
